The students of St. Jude’s English Medium Higher Secondary School recently embraced the spirit of generosity by successfully completing the “Toy Box” challenge, a heartwarming initiative organized under the “Nallapadam” project. Living up to the motto, “Share the toys… Share the love,” our kiddies collected and donated a basket full of toys. These gifts were formally handed over to the School Manager, Rev Dr Shinu Uthuppan, and were subsequently distributed to five Anganavadis located in the 45th division of the Cochin Corporation. This act of kindness not only brought immense joy to the younger children in the Anganavadis but also beautifully demonstrated the commitment of the St. Jude’s family to social responsibility and community welfare.
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that St. Jude’s EMHSS has once again clinched the Overall Championship at this year’s Sub-District Exhibition!
This victory marks a historic moment as our talented students have continuously secured the top spot for the third consecutive time. This outstanding achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and creativity of our participants and the unwavering support of our teachers and management.
The students of St. Jude’s School successfully executed a heart-warming toy collection drive. Our generous students gathered a significant number of beautiful and well-cared-toys to donate to Anganwadis in the local area that are currently not very well-equipped. The goal of this initiative was to enhance the learning and play environment for the younger children in these centers, ensuring they have access to resources that foster early childhood development. This project was driven by a commitment to social responsibility and the spirit of sharing within the community.
As a part of the school’s activities, the dedicated students successfully organized and executed a Food Collecting Campaign to gather food packets for the people who are struggling in their life for food particularly those at railway stations and other vulnerable areas. The initiative showcased the students’ commitment to social responsibility and empathy for the community.
We are proud to announce the collection of a remarkable 461 food packets! This significant contribution will be distributed to provide immediate relief and sustenance to those experiencing food insecurity. The success of this campaign is a testament to the generosity and community spirit of students.
St. Jude’s EMHSS proudly launched its Medicinal Garden, “Arogya Udyanam”, as a part of its Nallapadam activities. The initiative aims to promote a healthy lifestyle with the motto “Return to Nature, Know the Medicines, Stay Healthy”.
The program was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Dr. Shinu Uthuppan, School Manager, who planted an aloe vera plant in the school premises, setting a noble example.
This initiative encourages students to explore the world of medicinal plants, fostering a deeper connection with nature.
